Halcyon Sound is a recording and mastering studio that wanted its brand to feel as quiet and precise as the room itself. We designed a minimal identity and a website that lets artists check the space, the gear, and the rates in a couple of minutes.
The website is built around a lot of black space, a short equipment list, and clear booking information — no stock imagery, no noise.
Typography and generous spacing do the work, the palette stays close to monochrome, and the responsive layout keeps the studio photos sharp on every screen size.
The logotype is a single quiet line, set in a custom-spaced sans and used almost nowhere at large sizes. We photographed the console, the live room, and the outboard rack in available light to keep the same restrained mood across the identity, giving Halcyon a small, consistent set of assets that never competes with the music.
